Air Conditioning
Compressors

Pressurises vaporised refrigerant received from the evaporator (between 1 and 2,5 bar) to a condensation pressure (between 10 and 20 bar). The compressor only pressurises vapour, not liquid.

Condensers and Evaporators

These are two heat exchangers which transform the physical state of the refrigerant from liquid to gas (evaporator) and from gas

to liquid (condenser) in order to set the refrigerant cycle.

More
Receiver Driers

It absorbs moisture from the refrigerant and filters out any small particles before it gets to the compressor. This protects the compressor from corrosion and seizure.

Cabin Filters

This filters the air entering the vehicle cabin, removing pollen and dust particles.
