Delphi
is committed to providing its customers, both distributors and garages, with comprehensive training solutions. Delphi has developed training modules, that can be tailored to meet the individuals’ needs and those of their business.
Delphi
’s range of training courses covers basic skills and takes students from training through to the in-depth knowledge that is required to service the most sophisticated vehicle systems and operate the latest diagnostic tools. As part of each syllabus, students receive comprehensive course notes and workbooks. In addition, all entrants have access to the relevant equipment, learning aids and individual personal development plans (PDP) purposely designed to fit around existing work commitments.
Delphi has utilised the skills and resources of industry experts, as well as its own specialists, to create a ‘Centre of Excellence’, for the Automotive Aftermarket.
Since launching our full Training Services offering in May 2004 we have trained over 24,500 delegates across a wide range of areas and subjects. The most popular training requested, or identified via training needs analysis (ATA), have been electronics/electrical, vehicle diagnostics and new technologies such as air conditioning, common rail and CANBUS.
Delphi has also introduced two new training services which are of vital importance to our industry, namely ATA (Automotive Technician Accreditation) and Apprentice Training schemes. Delphi is an IMI approved ATA centre and is able to offer many levels of ATA.
Delphi has worked with the UK government and key customers to develop a bespoke Apprenticeship programme that offers independent workshops a credible alternative to the traditional F.E. college route for their apprentices.
We offer a totally focused and high quality apprentice training and assessment service, that is designed and delivered by experienced automotive trainers. Delphi is fully committed to both these initiatives as they will go along way to improving the quality and abilities of those already within our industry but also those beginning their careers.
