TROY, Mich. — Delphi and MasterCraft Boat Company today announced that Mike Wiese, an inside sales representative for Roppel Industries, is the grand prize winner of Delphi’s 2008 Bonus Bucks promotional program. Parts specialists throughout the U.S. participated along with Wiese in the promotion for the chance to win a MasterCraft® X-1 boat, valued at over $56,000.
As seen in the X Games and on the Pro-Wakeboard Tour, the MasterCraft® X-1 is a 21 foot wakeboard and ski boat that comfortably seats eleven people. Innovatively designed and quality-manufactured, the boat is part of MasterCraft’s wakeboarding and tow boat X-Series.
“MasterCraft is honored to partner with Delphi in this national promotional program,” said John Behling, vice president, marketing, MasterCraft Boat Company. “It is very exciting for us to have the opportunity to award a valuable asset like the X-1 wakeboard and ski boat that can provide hours of recreation and fun to the winner and their family.”
Wiese, along with Roppel Industries vice president, Tom Roppel; Delphi regional sales manager, Bob Pegrum; and MasterCraft Midwest regional sales and marketing manager, Matt McDevitt, were onsite for a grand prize celebration held October 15, at BoatWorks, a MasterCraft dealership in Louisville, Kentucky.
“I was pleasantly surprised to be named the grand prize winner and it feels great,” said Wiese. “Delphi offers OE-quality and fit for an aftermarket price and I’m always happy to offer the Delphi brand to my customers. Thanks to Delphi and MasterCraft.”
Delphi Bonus Bucks is an annual program held to reward customer loyalty while further strengthening customer relationships and generating awareness of Dephi’s OE-quality aftermarket parts. Participating customers also had the opportunity to receive special discounts on parts orders placed within the promotion period.
“Mike Wiese, along with the entire crew at Roppel Industries, are loyal customers of Delphi and we are happy to award this not only as a prize, but as a sincere token of our appreciation for their dedication to Delphi quality parts and services,” said Dave Barbeau, vice president, independent aftermarket, Delphi Product & Service Solutions. “Our greatest commitment is to our customers and we want that relationship with Delphi to be both personal and rewarding.”
All participants in Delphi Bonus Bucks earned cash prizes and a chance to enter for the grand prize drawing based on sales of Delphi parts between May and June, 2008. Participants tracked the sales of qualified Delphi parts including fuel pumps, fuel modules, fuel injectors and oxygen planar sensors and in turn received Bonus Bucks awarded on VISA gift cards.
